Shareable links
Send a viewer URL such as viewthispdf.com/view/… instead of attaching the file. Optional passcode, expiry, and download limits on paid plans.
Company
A simpler way to open and share PDFs
ViewThisPDF is a web service for opening PDFs in the browser, storing them in the cloud, and sharing them with a link instead of an email attachment.
What ViewThisPDF does
Built for people who send documents as part of daily work — sales, operations, client delivery, and internal review.
Free local preview
Open a PDF in your browser without an account. The file stays on your device. Up to 25 MB, with basic print and download.
Cloud library
On Pro or Business, upload once, keep folders, and share a private viewer URL. Recipients do not need an account unless you add extra access controls.
Edit & annotate
Highlight, comment, fill forms, and merge pages on paid plans, then export a flattened PDF.
Engagement insights
See when a recipient opened a document and which pages they spent time on (Pro and Business).
Who it is for
Typical uses include a contract, a board pack, or a one-off PDF that should open in the browser rather than from an inbox.
Plans and pricing
The local viewer is free. Cloud storage, sharing, editing, and analytics are monthly subscriptions. There is no advertising on document pages.

Frequently asked questions
Is ViewThisPDF the same as emailing a PDF?
No. On a paid plan you upload once, then send a viewer link. Recipients open it in the browser. They do not receive a raw .pdf attachment unless you also let them download the file.
What does the free plan include?
A local PDF viewer in your browser, no account, up to 25 MB per file, and basic print and download. The file is not stored in a ViewThisPDF library.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. Pro is billed month to month. After cancellation, your files remain downloadable for 30 days.
Are my documents encrypted?
All traffic uses HTTPS. Pro and Business plans store files encrypted at rest. The free viewer never sends the file to our servers.
Do recipients need an account to open a link?
Usually no. A share link opens in the browser. You can add a passcode or other restrictions on paid plans.
How do I get a copy of my data or delete my account?
Email [email protected]. Pro subscribers may request export or deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
